So there you go - the gauntlet of incredulity has been thrown down by a group of know-nothing bozo's who do not realise you are a Brittain. Go for it brother of mine, I'll sponsor you to the tune of a pair of new tyres - cheers, Mat.

In response to:What the best dressed is wearing....

Slander! Slander I say! (or is it libel on a blog?). Ah...the memory of it. Kipping in a field, french cheese with bovine reproductive connatations, wine so cheap and nasty that my palate has never recovered! Jont, you worthy soul, hope Sandhurst meeting expectations and hope you've managed to shower without dropping the soap. Remember that you only have to do so much for king and country! Our 'boys' mental health safe in your hands...('stop whining and kill the fucker!'). Picked up some very travel weary touratech boxes for £20. This investment has doubled the value of the bike and consequently now committed to the task! I'll be posting further tales of our boyish 'derring do'. James talks of you and the dog often...scarred for life! Love to Lib. Take care mon ami.

In response to:What the best dressed is wearing....

Forgive me for throwing doubt on this endevour, but I have travelled with this man-more than that, I have funded this mans travel! As wee young things, pissed and broke, we decided to venture from these shores aboard hovercraft and coach- this ner'do well turned up sans £ and sans passport! I think he said 'i appear to have lost my wallet' or am I thinking of another time!Hope this happens-me, I am at Sandhurst Military Academy before going to Basrs or Afghanistan. I think this will tame by comparision to Casablanca on a pile of old two stroke merde! Go by plane.

In response to:What the best dressed is wearing....

Thanks for having a look Steve. It'll certainly be an adventure...rehearsing main bearing replacement as we speak! I've no idea what it'll cost but have had a quick look. £100 ferry tickets, 4000 miles worth of fuel and 2 stroke..about £350, hotels (shitty B and B's!) £150, Nice hotel in Casablanca for a couple of nights £150, Insurance and recovery £80, food and drink £150, phone, repairs, emergencies, flight home, bribes....God knows. Was originally banking on fifty quid and a smooth line in chat. I'll have to find out how to offset some of the cost against sponsorship. I'm looking at nine days max in and out! Could go to the Gambia after Casablanca but will want to be home. My arse will hurt and I'll miss people and home! I'll be picking your brains! cheers

In response to:What the best dressed is wearing....

Hi Simon,

I wish I were going with you. Seems like an adventure, especially on an MZ.

How much is this going to cost you? How much sponsorship do you need to raise? How long do you envision it will take?

I shall drag the bike out of the shed on Thursday, as it's buried better than Blackbeards treasure at the moment.

I shall keep an eye on your blog, thanks for the link.

If this looks familiar Steve it's because it's yours. thought I'd post it. Click on comments and be a s rude as you like. Cheers.
